Domain name although the Age of Domain matters, search engines do not favor older and established sites with no recently updated content, it is better to have the content separated and have a different domain (preferably with the keywords in it) for different niches

no search engine mainly favours the old domain...always the older domain that is well optimized would be ranked higher than a newer one . we can analyse the domain age from http://www.whoisxy.com/ by the date of creation and expiration of the domain .
