Choosing A Good Web Hosting Provider
Choosing a good web hosting provider is a crucial and tough. I think the following lessons will assists to choose a good web hosting company.
1. Price is the key factor, that most of us look at first. So it is important to contact with the company that offered the price within your range. 2. A good web hosting company will certainly ensure that they have sufficient resources available to provide its users. 3. Security is another key fact. A good company must have a security feature. 4. A good company also provide technical support to their customers. I think It is the most important one. A good company should have some technician to provide this support seven days per week. 5. Keeping a good communication with the customer is another feature of a good company. I think the factors are useful when choosing a web hosting company. Please give your opinion if you have some. |

I think you are absolutely right. However, I would like to add something more regarding the issue of web hosting. All the development and ranking of the website largely dependent on the web hosting. Only a proper hosting from a good fast server can upgrade a website quickly. Speed, reliability and sincere service of the host server is mandatory to establish a good website. I would be highly pleased if you can give more details where to find a good reliable web hosting service provider.
Thanks

RE: Choosing A Good Web Hosting Provider
Thanks for the good info riku07, indeed those can be our guide in choosing the right Web Hosting Provider, and I also agree that t he main factor in choosing the right one is the Price = Service, wherein the Service the of the Provider must equal its given Price or better yet exceed it. But there are exceptions sometimes, when I personally will buy the bit expensive one if I knew it will last longer than the cheaper one that will not last long.
So also we have to consider in the list that "Check REVIEWS online of Web Hosting Companies, for useful info about them and comments of its clients". Some may be expensive, but clients agree that it is worth it. Chuck Norris can breach the firewall of IBM and Microsoft...with his mind |

RE: Choosing A Good Web Hosting Provider
You said it right Apaullo, a web hosting service may be expensive but its worth buying for. Riku07 you really have to check out the review in this forum as mentioned by Maximus, from their you can choose the best web host provider that will suit you. And remember that if the price is right and review is great, grab it! That's just a piece of advise, though.

RE: Choosing A Good Web Hosting Provider
Most free web hosts impose advertising on your website. This is done to cover the costs of providing your site the free web space and associated services. Some hosts require you to place a banner on your pages, others display a window that pops up everytime a page on your site loads, while still others impose an advertising frame on your site. There is really no hard and fast rule which is to be preferred: some people hate a pop-up window, other webmasters dislike having to stuff banner codes onto their pages, and many people cannot stand an advertising frame (which may cause problems when you submit your website to search engines). Whichever method is used, check that you're comfortable with the method.

RE: Choosing A Good Web Hosting Provider
I think unlimited feature is also one major point over good hosting provider because Rarely trust companies that offer unlimited space/bandwidth etc. as this is blatant overselling. When was the last time you saw an unlimited hard drive?! Companies that offer unlimited hosting features may not be around long and their other services tend to suffer - e.g. support.

RE: Choosing A Good Web Hosting Provider
yeah, every host that offers unlimited anything will eventually boot you from their service if you go over what they consider to be "excessive"

RE: Choosing A Good Web Hosting Provider
But how can you consider a client to be excessive when he is indeed using almost all of the provider's resources but he is using it to good use? Like having a huge website and he is taking advantage of your unlimited quota, can you really blame him? After all, you the provider is the one who game him that unlimited something
