What Godeleine said about Forum posting, when you post in a forum, it will improve your traffic but it can be minimal, and when your keywords (I guess in forum posting) appear high in the SE's...my question is how can your post gain more traffic and how can you make some of your words from your posts tags??

The only way for your post to gain more traffic is through a proper and sophisticated SEO. Of course, the content in the described post must be unique and qualitative too. The words from your post are becoming tags in your meta-title, meta-description, and meta-keywords.

You are right SC1, forum posting is one way of getting traffic, also if you have a good reputation on forums, your posts will have a good quality SEO, especially in Yahoo Answers!

Forum posting is the best way for getting natural inbound links for yours websites annd it also a good traffic provider as well,but instead of using paid one search only for the forums category with that keyword which is related to your site e.g. celebrity forums,casino forums etc.

Forum posting is a very powerful method for getting free traffic to your website. There are hundreds of forums on the internet which allows to have a signature under every post. So the more messages you post, more people might see your advertisement. This is one of the most time-consuming methods of all because it takes time until you reach respectful amount of posts, which will attract new visitors. And you must keep posting on forums regularly.

1.As I mentioned before, there are hundreds of forums on the internet and it is impossible to participate in all of them. The first thing you should do is to select most visited and most useful forums for you. It is better to choose the forums that are at least minimally connected to the theme of your website. Of course, sometimes you could get the same benefit from forums about topics that are not related to your website, but you personally are an expert on it. Because the more clever you look like the more visitors will pay attention to your posts. When selecting forums always pay attention how many registered members they have, and how often each topic is viewed as you want to be seen as much as possible.

2.Avoid forums where SPAM is allowed.

3.Set the number of forums in which you will be able to participate each day. I would advise to choose about 10 forums, but if you have more time you can try to register to 10-20 forums. Remember, that it's all about quality, not quantity!

4.Before posting, carefully read all the rules because they differ in each forum. It would be better to start posting without signatures. Better look around and try to gather some amount of posts firstly. I would even advise to create a table on a sheet where you would keep the notes about forums, so that every time you want to write something you will know what you shouldn't do.

5.After you gathered all the information about each forum, you can start posting. Don't try to participate in every topic. Better choose the most popular topics where you feel you have knowledge to talk about. Avoid writing short messages, as most visitors skip such posts. Better try to make at least 2-3 sentences-long messages. Such posts attract other members attention to read your posts.
