The first and most important thing is to choose a domain name which will match the content of your website as precisely as possible. If you are starting a website for your business, then you should try to find and choose a domain name with your company`s abbreviation or name included. You must try to keep the domain name length below 20-25 letters, because it will be probably easier to remember if it is shorter. Putting a whole sentence as your domain name won`t work Try to avoid words in your domain, which are misspelled often. You have to decide if your website`s domain will contain ``www`` in front (hyphenated domain) or not (unhyphenated domain). Avoid the usage of words/conjunctions, which can be typed with the use of numbers – Ex.: for -4; to – 2; etc… Always try to find a regional domain suffix, if your website is going to be in a specific, not so ``popular`` language, and if the targeted user group is from a specific country.
