The process of Web Design includes all methods used for the creation of unique and attractive website outlook. The website`s logo, template, favicon, pictures, videos, and all other media types are part of the Web Design process. There are 3 main aspects and steps in the Web Designing: Design Ideas, Design Production, and ad implementation. It is always better to use the professional services of a web design expert for your new website, if you don`t have any previous web designing experience.

RE: Web Design Explained
Yes..I think it is wise to acquire the services of an experienced web designer but what about the cost? How much does it usually take for a good design?

RE: Web Design Explained
Well, the price is absolutely dependent to the complexity level of the desired web-design and to the chosen web-designer.

RE: Web Design Explained
Yes I know but can you give me a number so I can have an idea how much to prepare when the time comes for me to really put up my own website...if I am just looking for a simple logo design for my website? 10$? or 100$?

RE: Web Design Explained
I believe, that you can find a good logo designer for your logo at price lower than 30$. You may find even cheaper designers, but they will probably be less experienced, which doesn`t necessarily means a bad result.

RE: Web Design Explained
Hmm..I think under 30$ is already ok, but what about the entire website? how much does it cost to design the entire website? I bet it will take more than 100$ to design an entire website of its templates and style.

RE: Web Design Explained
I believe, it will be way over 100$ for the entire website. It is always better (and cheaper) to create at least the ``foundations`` by yourself, because you will be able to exactly reproduce your ideas, and you will be learning new design techniques in the same time.

RE: Web Design Explained
Well, I think you got a point there Max, but unfortunately there will be a time that a user will be forced to hire a web designer to create the whole website. But I am willing to learn...but Max, your IP has an effect to your popularity and traffic right? For example, I am from the Philippines and most users with web knowledge will most likely choose an American IP right?

No, the IP address or your location has insignificant or even no importance for your website. However, the IP uniqueness is important, and you must try to acquire a unique IP address for your website. This could be done by a purchase of a dedicated IP with your current shared webhosting plan, which is usually offered as a paid add-on option. All VPSs and Dedicated servers are usually featuring 1 or multiple dedicated IP addresses. Another relevant fact is that your IP address is determined by the location of your server and not by your personal location. For example, if you are from the Philippines and you are hosting your website on a server in France, then the website`s IP will be from the IP range used in France. The same applies, if you are renting server on Mars and managing/controlling the server from the Moon
