Alpha and Master Reseller Plans Explained

Some web-hosting companies are providing special reselling plans to their potential clients/affiliates. These special reseller accounts are three major types: Alpha Reseller Account, Master Reseller Account, and Reseller account. All of the above plans/accounts are hierarchically linked.

Alpha Reseller Account – With this type of reseller hosting, you will be able to create and sell new Master Reseller Accounts, Reseller Accounts, or/and cPanel accounts. The name of this reseller type, Alpha, is clearly pointing to its place in the reseller hosting hierarchy.

Master Reseller Account – You will be able to create and sell new Reseller Accounts and/or cPanel accounts.

Reseller Account – This is the most popular type of reseller account. You will be able to create only new cPanel accounts with this reseller plan.

All of the described reseller types are available as ``100% WHITE LABELED``, ``Partially Labeled``, and ``Labeled``. The first kind is allowing you the usage of your own domain servers, trademarks, plans, etc… The second is providing you with only a certain part of the above marketing tools, and with the third you are going to sell all plans under the provider`s name.

Max these 3 types of Resellers are the ones that we talked about a client that can resell their purchased 'space' in the Provider right? If so, those that purchased directly from the client of the Provider is called the Alpha? or the client himself are the Alpha?

No Apaullo, the names and types here are referring only to the creation and selling of new Master Reseller Accounts, Reseller Accounts, or/and cPanel accounts. The availability of reselling abilities is defined by the chosen reseller plan, as described in the first post. However, the ``Reseller`` (the third type in the first post) hosting plan is exactly what we have been discussing in the other thread, about reseller hosting plans.
