RE: Choosing A Good Web Hosting Provider
Hey all!
I thought I could chime in here and provide my 2 cents about Unlimited offerings. While many companies offer "Unlimited storage" I still have not run across any hard drives that have unlimited space . However, this does not mean that the provider is overselling, or engaging in any bad practices. If the provider is responsible, they will have an infrastructure in place that helps them locate and shift the heavy users in a mix with the light users, in a scalable environment. All without the users perceiving any difference in service. It is true that usage can change on a dime, but with finite storage or not, that kind of radical change can still affect one or more customers. In the end, I do not believe that just because a hosting provider offers unlimited hosting that it means you cannot trust them. Please make sure to look at all aspects as mentioned in the beginning of this post before jumping to any conclusion. Cheers! Gabe Go Daddy® Hosting Ambassador |
