VPS Selection – IP Adresses
The unique IP address is a big advantage for your website. However, we have discussed the importance of the unique IP address, so I will continue with discussion about the IP addresses and their correlation with your new VPS purchase.
Usually, the budget VPS comes with 1 or 2 IP Addresses, which are assigned to your chosen VPS` DNServers. The websites hosted on that VPS could also use the same two IP Addresses, so if you are going to host 1-2 websites on your VPS, then 2 IP`s will be enough. In case, that you are planning to host more than 2 websites, then you should order an appropriate number of extra dedicated IP Addresses. The price of 1 extra dedicated IP varies with the different VPS providers, however, it is usually in the 0,5$-2$ price range.
