Illustrator CS3"The Windows registry was not in the expected state"
I just installed the Adobe CS3 Creative Suite on a fresh install of Vista
Ultimate. No other Adobe products have been installed on this machine before. Whenever I try to run Illustrator CS3, I get the error "The Windows registry was not in the expected state. Please run the Illustrator installer to correct this problem. Illustrator will contine to run, but may not operate properly" I searched google, and found one other person who posted the same problem, but with no fix. Adobe mentions the problem on their site and says it may occur if you had uninstalled CS2. But, this is a fresh Windows Vista install. I've tried reinstalling Illustrator CS3 from the Suite, but it doesnt help. |

Re: Illustrator CS3"The Windows registry was not in the expected state"
I am getting the same error. System was working fine until today when photoshop stopped working. In fact, all the apps wouldn't work. I was told to reinstall, and then this happens.
What is going on Adobe? We need a patch to get past this. re-installs are not accomplising anything for us, and we're sick of wasting time. Please resolve this now. Alex Alexzander |
